Minister to speak to Aglow members

Lampasas Aglow, a Community Lighthouse of Aglow International, will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express.

This month's speaker will be Falma Rufus, an ordained minister, psalmist and intercessor.

Mrs. Rufus is a member of the Southwest Harvest Church in Duncanville under the leadership of Howard (Sonny) Conaster, where she has served for more than 12 years.

She is a former volunteer chaplain in outreach ministry for the Dallas Juvenile Detention Center and has served over 15 years in ministry at Dallas County Jail and traveled to many state prisons.

Mrs. Rufus also has traveled to England, Italy, Canada, Mexico, Germany, Israel, Sri Lanka, Indonesia and Afghanistan and throughout the U.S. for prayer and intercession assignments.

She serves as the international prayer director and coordinator for Barbara Wentroble at International Breakthrough Ministries and is on the board of directors for Pray Texas. She is founder of Pray His Song Ministries.

Mrs. Rufus retired from SBC Corp. with 28 years of service. She is the mother of three sons (one deceased) and three grandchildren.
