Daughter born

Colin and Brandi Oliva of Kansas are the parents of a daughter, Brooklynn Skye, born at 10:49 a.m., Jan. 1, 2008.

At arrival, Brooklynn weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 20 inches in length.

Grandparents are Cathy Smith of Lampasas and the late Bobby Jack Smith, and Ricky and Debbie Oliva of Missouri.

Great-grandparents are Anna Lee Carroll and the late Bobby Joe Carroll, and Bobby Smith and Donna Tyson, all of Lampasas.
