Winning group
The Lampasas High School Illusion Color Guard earned first place at its first Texas Color Guard Circuit Competition in Scholastic AA division held at Pflugerville Connally High School. Color guard members include captains Brittany Ham, Jennifer Meyer and Kasey Engrav and guard members Jessica Kriegel, Marie Paddie, Amanda Garrison, Lore Nightingale, Tiffany McNatt, Jessie Arbolay, Jamie Phinney, Stefanie Welker, Elizabeth Smith, Katie Skelton, Sarah Casey, Meggan Harbin, Kaylee Hummer, Shelby Ramon, Shelby Davis and Alex Ryan. Instructor is Nancy Norris. Last year, the guard placed second in state in the Scholastic AA division.
