College honors

Texas A&M Diplomas were awarded to 3,467 Texas A&M University graduates during mid-term commencement ceremonies for the 2007-08 academic year.

East Texas Baptist University at Marshall has recognized its students for outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2007 semester.

From Lampasas, Katy Porter was named to the Dean's List with honors.

Eastern New Mexico

Thomas R. York, an Eastern New Mexico University accounting major from Lampasas, is among the students on the 2007 fall semester Dean's Honor Roll.

To be eligible, a student must complete a minimum of 15 semester hours and maintain a 3.25 grade-point average.

Temple College

Temple College has announced its Vice President's Honor List for the fall 2007 semester.

To be eligible, a student must have a grade-point average of 3.5.
