Mr. Farquhar

Jerry Norman Farquhar, 69, of Lampasas died Feb. 8, 2008, at Spring Oaks Nursing & Rehab.

Funeral services are Feb. 12 at 1 p.m. at First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas with Minister Rocky Moncus officiating. Burial will follow at Straley Cemetery near Adamsville.

Mr. Farquhar was born Oct. 28, 1938, in San Antonio, the son of Ruben Claude and Ruth Green Farquhar.

He retired from the city of Fort Worth Water Department and was a member of First Street Church of Christ.

Mr. Farquhar is survived by a sister, Nell Cook, and husband, Tom, of Decatur; by an aunt, Floy Caudle, of Sulphur Springs; and by numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family requested memorials be made to First Street Church of Christ in Lampasas.
