Ms. Titus

Corpus Christi resident Patricia Ann Titus, 69, died Feb. 5, 2008, at her residence.

Funeral services were Feb. 9 at Good Shepherd Catholic Church in Lometa. Burial was at Lometa City Cemetery.

Ms. Titus was born Feb. 28, 1938, in Taylor, the daughter of Daniel Joseph and Ann Augustus Buttrill Pollock.

She graduated from Texas A&M University with a bachelor's degree in education and taught school for a number of years.

Ms. Titus was an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and was an active worker in the Republican party.

Survivors include her mother of Lometa; four sons, James Daniel Titus, of Bryan, John Kirk Titus, of Matamora, Mich., Patrick Joseph Titus, of Beaumont, and Mark Samuel Titus, of Fort Worth; a brother, Dan Pollock, and wife, Leanne, of Lampasas; nine grandchildren, Emily Titus, Caitlyn Titus, John Titus, Madeline Titus, Bailey Titus, Elliott Titus, Owen Titus, James Titus and Elizabeth Titus; and her former husband, retired U.S. Navy Capt. James R. Titus.

The family requested memorials be made to Daughters of the American Revolution or Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
