5K registration under way

Runners and walkers are gearing up for the 22nd Silver Classic 5K Run & Walk May 4 at Metroplex Hospital in Killeen. Check-in will be at 7 a.m. and the race at 8:30 a.m., part of the CenTex Race Series, in collaboration with Killeen Parks and Recreation and Metroplex Health System. Separate divisions will be set up for male and female runners and walkers in various age groups. Entry fee is $15 before April 24 and $20 from April 25 through race day.
