School Creek to hold banquet, show

School Creek Baptist Church will have a Valentine's banquet and show Feb. 17 from 4-6 p.m. A potluck meal (bring a covered dish) will follow the show, which features impersonations of John Wayne by Ermal Williamson, and Lucille Ball and Katherine Hepburn by Paula, known as America's Yodeling Sweetheart.

Both performers hail from Branson, Mo.

Williamson, a stage and screen actor, author and entertainer, is the official greeter at the Silver Dollar City's Salute to the Great American Cowboy. He has appeared in television commercials, rode in the Rose Parade, been featured in film documentaries and appeared internationally.

He spent 12 years performing on the Wild Goose, John Wayne's yacht, and he is in his second year of performing as John Wayne in Branson.

Paula performs at the Nova Theatre in Branson. She has won talent search contests, toured Canada, appeared at Iowa and Missouri state fairs and has won All-American Girl Pageants at regional, state and national levels.
