Service honored
Longtime Lampasas Advisory Board member June Davis was honored recently as she retired from the board with 10 years of service. Mrs. Davis, a retired school teacher, spent more than two years converting the library's card catalog and scan tags to the computer, allowing easier access for patrons and improved accounting for staff. Though she plans to continue her membership and visit the library, her time there will be strictly for pleasure, she said.
