Flames plan dance clinic, dinner, raffle

Lampasas High School Flames will host its first Sweet Heart Little Sparks Dance Clinic and Technique Camp Saturday at Bozarth-Fowler Gym.

Funds raised will defray costs of a planned March trip to Florida for competition.

Girls, ages 3 through 11th grade will learn a dance taught by Flames, receive a T-shirt and lunch and will perform at the Flames spaghetti dinner and silent auction and raffle Feb. 15. Cost is $25 at the door.

After-hours technique camp is offered to anyone in grades eight through 11 who is interested in trying our for the 2008-09 Flames Drill Team. Cost is $35.

Little Sparks is from 8 a.m. to noon, and the technique camp is from 1-3 p.m.

Registration forms can be picked up and dropped off at each of the school campuses.

The public is invited to the Feb. 15 fund-raising event from 6- 8 p.m. at the high school cafeteria.

Tickets are $6 per person or four tickets for $20.

Several high-ticket items will be raffled off. Tickets are $5 each or five for $20.
