Freshmen 1 win away

After Friday night's 40-33 victory over Vista Ridge, the Lampasas High School freshman girls' basketball team's resume reads: 25 wins; zero losses.

A win tonight at home against Dripping Springs would complete a perfect season. The game is scheduled for 8 p.m.

In the win against Vista Ridge, Marisa Bogart had nine points, six rebounds and three steals. Jennifer Herron recorded eight points, five rebounds and five steals.

Makenzi Myrick had seven points, five rebounds and two thefts, and Madison Morris registered six points and three steals. Kallen Vann finished with four points and four rebounds. Ashley Summers scored three points, and Falon Holland grabbed five rebounds.

Vista Ridge JV Girls 41, LHS 29: The Lady Badgers fell to 13-14 on the year with a home loss on Friday.

Cristel West led the Lady Badgers with 10 points.
