Sculptor showing in Temple

T.J. Mabrey's "Boat Show" exhibit is at Temple's Cultural Activities Center.
T.J. Mabrey's exhibition, "The Boat Show, an Exhibition of Vehicles, Vessels and Viewpoints in Marble," opened last month at the Azalee Marshall Cultural Activities Center in Temple and will remain open to the public until Feb. 22.

The exhibition includes more than 20 sculptures made of marble and/or bronze.

Mrs. Mabrey has designs and sculptures in collections across the U.S., in Italy, Egypt, Lebanon and The Netherlands. She maintains a home and studio in Central Texas, and a studio in Italy for working on marble and bronze.

The artist's previous show in Temple, "Floodstage at the Memory Theatre," was in April 1995 and was a collaborative effort with poet John Campion.

The Cultural Activities Center is at 3011 N. Third St. in Temple, and the exhibit is featured at the Howard Gallery and Carabisi Gallery.

Mrs. Mabrey will be at the Temple galleries Feb. 22 from 1-2 p.m. The public is invited.
