TECH SIGNING DAY

The Hill Country Chapter of the Texas Tech Alumni Association has scheduled its National Signing Day Extravaganza for Wednesday from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Events Center.

Everyone is welcome to attend. Former Tech football coach Spike Dykes is scheduled to emcee the event. Red Raider defensive line coach Charlie Sadler will present video footage of and information about Tech's newly signed recruits.

The cost is $30 per person. Admission includes a barbecue dinner, a cash bar, a raffle, an auction and memorabilia.

HUNTING

The National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage Banquet is scheduled for Thursday at the Howard Johnson Inn in Killeen.

Tickets are $40 for men, $35 for women and $15 for children. Admission includes an annual membership, a meal and entry to the auction.
