Brownwood holds off LHS in District 8-4A opener
      The Lampasas High School boys' soccer team opened District 8-4A play with a 5-2 home loss against Brownwood on Tuesday. Brownwood jumped out to a quick lead, scoring three goals in the first 10 minutes before the Badgers found their footing and played even for the remainder of the game.

      Pflugerville Hendrickson is certainly approaching the postseason on a roll On Tuesday night, the Hawks beat Lampasas 89-55 to eliminate the Badgers from playoff contention and to keep their team scoring average at 94 points per game over the past three games.
