Club readies for annual button fair set in Burnet

Bluebonnet Button Club will host its fourth annual Button Fair Feb. 5 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Herman Brown Free Library's Goodrich Room on the square in Burnet.

Visitors are invited to see displays of hundreds of collectible clothing buttons from club members' collections.

Some craft items using buttons will be on display, along with button books for viewing.

Visitors may also bring a few buttons of their own for club members to identify the material they are constructed from.

The come-and-go event is open to the public at no charge.

The button club meets the first Wednesday of each month at 9:30 a.m. at the Burnet County Courthouse Annex's special activity room.
