Benefit on tap at AMVETS

AMVETS Post 80 is sponsoring a beneft for Mary Ann Doss Frank, a longtime beautician and Lampasas County resident. She has been fighting cancer for the past several years.

A barbecue dinner with all the trimmings will be served from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday at the post home.

Cost is $7 per plate.

A dance featuring a variety of musicians will start at 1 p.m., and donations will be accepted.

Funds raised will help defray Mrs. Franks' medical expenses.
