Mrs. Somers

Susan Marie Finnerty Somers, 52, of Lampasas died Jan. 5, 2008, at her residence.

A memorial service is Jan. 19 at 1 p.m. at Briggs-Gamel-Wilcox Funeral Home Chapel in Lampasas.

Mrs. Somers was born June 26, 1955, in Panama City, Fla., to Thomas and Genieve Benham Finnerty.

She married David Somers on June 18, 1983.

Mrs. Somers was a lawyer for many years and was a member of the Bar Association when she moved to Lampasas from Washington.

Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; three sons, Christopher, William and Daniel Somers, all of Lampasas; and a daughter, Maddi Somers, of Lampasas.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
