Texas Hill Country Trail Region to meet in Lampasas

The Texas Hill Country Trail Region will hold its monthly meeting Thursday at the Lampasas County Courthouse.

The meeting, open to the public, will begin at 1:30 p.m. and includes a presentation of the "Ghosts of Lampasas County," by the Lampasas County Historical Commission.

Texas Hill Country Trail Region is part of the Texas Historical Commission's Texas Heritage Trails Program, a regional tourism initiative designed to help Texas communities promote tourism, revitalize local economies, and foster community leadership through historic preservation.

The trail encompasses 19 counties in Central Texas, including Lampasas, Burnet, Blanco, Travis and Williamson.
