Writing conference on tap Best-selling author, Lee Strobel, will speak at Writing for the Soul Conference Jan. 31-Feb. 3 at The Broadmoor in Colorado Springs, Colo. A former atheist turned evangelist, Strobel will headline the roster of speakers. His book, "The Case for Christ," has sold 3.5 million copies and he has written five follow up volumes that set out evidence for the divinity of Jesus. Strobel's most recent effort, "The Case for the Real Jesus," responds to challenges to Christianity gaining strength with popular bestsellers "The End of Faith" and "Letter to a Christian Nation," by Sam Harris. The four-day event also features "Sister Chicks" author Robin Jones Gunn; comedian Richard Lederer; and film director Dallas Jenkins. New York Times best-selling author Jerry B. Jenkins will serve as host. Julliard-trained pianist and Carnegie Hall performer Randall Atcheson will perform.
