Official release of `Sandy's Gift' is announced

Debbie Duty Barrett's new book, "Sandy's Gift," has been released and is available through the publishing company, publishamerica. com.

Mrs. Barrett was a member of the Lampasas High School Class of 1972.

The book can be obtained online through amazon.com, borders.com and barnesandnoble.com. Another online source is booksamillion.com. In addition, Mrs. Barrett's book can be purchased at bookstores for $12.95.

The former local resident plans to keep half the royalties, she said, with the other half to go to mission organizations.
