Couple exchange vows at San Antonio church

Lindsay Ann Goletz of San Antonio became the bride of Dr. Geoffrey Means Millican in a Sept. 22, 2007, evening ceremony at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church in San Antonio.
The Rev. Dr. David McNitzky, senior pastor, officiated the doublering ceremony.
The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Ty Henry Goletz of San Antonio. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter A. Goletz of Milwaukee, Wis., and the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward J. Karker.
The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Pat Millican, and the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Sherman Millican of Bend and the late Mr. and Mrs. Roy Shaw of Chesterfield, S.C.
Music was provided by organist Richard Parrigan. "St. Anthony's Chorale" was chosen for seating of the parents, and the bridal party entered to "Trumpet Tune." The recessional was "Hornpipe from Water Music." Nona Schwab, soloist, sang "The Lord's Prayer" to conclude the ceremony.
Readings from Romans and Philippians were given by Ashley Eastham Pitts during the service.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride chose a blush-pink silk gown created by Monique Lhullier.
The strapless gown featured a beaded bodice, large bow at the waist, and ruching on the skirt.
A fingertip veil completed her ensemble.
The bride's bouquet was an assortment of orchids in creams and pinks.
Maid of honor was Emily Litton Chandler.
Bridesmaids were Ashley Eastham Pitts, Karen Ann Stiles, Vanessa Ann Towning and Amanda Rittenhouse Williams.
Best man was Sammy Wayne Williams.
Groomsmen were Daniel Lee Boyd, James F. Jackson III, Jeffrey Bradford Phelps and Benjamin Jay Pearce.
Ushers were Kevin B. Harrison, Byron D. Holt and Jeffrey P. Rhodes.
Following the ceremony, the bride's parents hosted a reception at The Argyle. Guests danced to live music on the lawn.
A wedding trip was taken to St. Lucia, and the couple is at home in North Richland Hills.
On the eve of the wedding, the groom's parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Casa Rio Restaurant on the Riverwalk in San Antonio.
