SBDC offers seminar for small businesses The Texas State Small Business Development Center is offering a three-part training class on the importance of a company's web presence in today's global economy. Want to learn how your business can use the latest internet marketing tools to find, get and keep customers online? This series will teach businesses how to harness the power of the internet through "Transform Your Web Presence," presented by Kim Wendland, owner of True Presence. Each session is set from 9-11:30 a.m. for $30 per individual sessions or $75 for all three. Session I: Jan. 16, covers the tools to "find" prospects searching for businesses with search marketing and online advertising. Session II: Jan. 23, uncovers the secrets on how to "get" prospects to convert to paying customers with an up-to-date, effective website. Session III: Jan. 30, explains the key elements to "keep" customers coming back for more with proven, permission-based e-mail marketing. Seminar will be presented at Round Rock Higher Education Center, 1555 University Blvd., Round Rock. Reservations must be made in advance, but payment can be made at the door by cash or check.
