Funeral services for Patsy Charline Walsh Terry, 74, of Lampasas were Jan. 5, 2008, at First Baptist Church in Lampasas with Dr. Rick Willis, church pastor, officiating. Burial was at the family plot at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
Mrs. Terry died at her home on Jan. 2.
Born Aug. 27, 1933, in Jonesboro, she was the daughter of Charles W. and Sybol Roach Walsh.
She married Dudley K. Terry on Jan. 21, 1960, in Erlangen, Germany, while he was serving in the U.S. Army.
Mrs. Terry was a retired civil servant, having worked at Fort Hood for a number of years.
She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lampasas and was very active in a number of organizations including the Central Texas Herb Society, Pierian Club, Lampasas Book Club, Lampasas Investment Club, Retired Officers Wives Club, Thursday Luncheon Club, Texas Federation of Women, Bridge Club, Aggie Mothers Club, Lampasas Association for the Arts, Lampasas Aggie Club and the Library Foundation of Lampasas, Texas.
Mrs. Terry was preceded in death by her husband and by a son, Fred D. Lawson.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Lawson, and wife, Lynette, of Austin, and Bill Terry, and wife, Genna, of Lampasas; a stepson, Tom Terry, and wife, Debora, of Austin; a sister, Peggy Summers, and husband, Bill, of Gatesville; seven grandchildren; three greatgrandchildren; an aunt; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family requested memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 402 S. Key Ave., Lampasas, TX 76550.
