LMS 8th boys down Burnet before break

The Lampasas Middle School eighth-grade boys' A team went into Christmas break on a high note, knocking off rival Burnet at home.

Brandon Scott tallied eight points, 10 rebounds, three blocks and two assists. Tanner Swinford registered eight points, six boards and two steals. Lucas Atkinson recorded eight points and six rebounds. Bailey Millican scored five points, and Dalton Moore and Justin Maldonado added four and two, respectively.

The Badgers are scheduled to resume action at Dripping Springs on Thursday.
