SPORTS BANQUET

The Lampasas High School football and volleyball teams have scheduled their athletic banquet for 7 p.m. Tuesday at the Lampasas Middle School cafeteria.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the LISD athletic office or at Hodges & Sargent Pharmacy.

HUNTING

The National Wild Turkey Federation Hunting Heritage Banquet is scheduled for Feb. 7, 2008 at the Howard Johnson Inn in Killeen.

Tickets are $40 for men, $35 for women and $15 for children. Admission includes an annual membership, a meal and entry to the auction. The organization serves Harker Heights, Killeen, Copperas Cove, Lampasas and surrounding areas. For more information, call Bobby or Ashley Jackson at (254) 542-4557.

YOUTH BASEBALL

Lampasas Little League registration is scheduled for Jan. 12 and Jan. 19.

Sign-ups are scheduled from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on both days at the Lampasas Middle School cafeteria. All potential participants must bring a copy of their birth certificates. To be eligible to play, participants must be 5 years old by September of this year.
