Arson blamed in rent house fire
      Arson severely damaged a one-family rental property at 507 N. Ridge St. Monday afternoon. The fire, which started in the living room, displaced a family of five, including four children, City Fire Marshal Reece Oestreich said. Police seek suspect in robberies
      On Wednesday, Copperas Cove police received a call that the Extraco Bank at 1003 East U.S. Highway 190 had been robbed. The initial investigation revealed that a black male in dark clothing entered the bank, approached a teller, produced a silver colored handgun and demanded money.
