      World Heritage Student Exchange program is seeking local host families for high school boys and girls from France, Germany, Thailand, Japan, Mexico, Switzerland, Denmark and Italy. Students are already awaiting word on their host family for the 2008-09 academic school year.

      Gadsby Airman Benjamin M. Gadsby has graduated from the U.S. Air Force Basic Training program at Lackland A.F.B., San Antonio. Gadsby graduated from Lampasas High School in 2007 after a three-year accelerated program. He entered basic training on Oct. 30.

      AMVETS Post 80 of Lampasas held its annual Christmas party for several Lampasas Middle School seventh- and eighth-grade students. Santa visited and youths received treats and toys for the holidays.
