Sarah and James Finley of Lampasas are the parents of a son, Samuel James, born Dec. 10, 2008, at 4:24 a.m. in Georgetown.

At birth, Samuel weighed 7 pounds, 2 ounces and was 22 inches in length.

Grandparents are Brenda and Shawn Kirkpatrick and Jim Finley Sr., all of Lampasas, and Cheryl Finley of Austin.

Great-grandparents are Lindal and Gordon Finley of Lampasas, and Spud and AJ Bolt of Goldthwaite.
