Lampasas County Fire Marshal Gene Harrison has determined that a mobile home fire that killed Lampasas County resident Lonnie Foster and injured his father, Elmer Foster, was started by a short in electrical wiring.

Elmer Foster was transported by helicopter to Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio for treatment for second- and third-degree burns.
