A Lampasas woman was killed in a two-vehicle accident Tuesday at 6:22 a.m. in Williamson County.

A report prepared by Department of Public Safety Trooper Glen Lester of Georgetown stated that Kristi Leeann Bender, 28, of Lampasas was driving a 1997 Geo eastbound on RR 2338 near County Road 245 in Williamson County.

The report said Ms. Bender rounded a curve at an unsafe speed. Her vehicle went into a side skid, crossed the center stripe and hit a 2004 Volvo driven by Florence resident Marnie Fanin.

Ms. Fanin was taken to a hospital for treatment of her injuries.
