An Enchanted Evening with D'Anne was enjoyed by members of the Oran Milo Roberts Chapter of the Daughters of the Republic of Texas and their guests on Dec. 1 in the historic Hancock Springs Hostess House.

Mrs. Willis entertained with seasonal songs.

Members and Kathy Baxter provided a covered-dish dinner in the Hostess House.

President Judy Smith welcomed 17 members and their guests, and presented Mrs. Baxter a Christmas gift in appreciation of all she does to promote and assist the local chapter. Hostesses were members of the courtesy committee, Martha Casbeer, Wilma Culp and Lila Goodson.

Next meeting is March 2 at the Hostess House. Author Bill O'Neal will give a program on Sam Houston. Hostesses will be Becky Haner and Molly Miller.
