Lonnie Foster

A memorial service for Lonnie Eugene Foster, 61, of Lampasas is Dec. 14, 2008, at Countryside Baptist Church following morning worship. Troy Young will officiate. The body will be cremated.

Mr. Foster died Dec. 6 in a house fire.

He was born Jan. 24, 1947, in Olean, N.Y., to Elmer Donald and Almeda Maxine Johnson Foster.

Mr. Foster served in the U.S. Army and later earned an associate's degree from Central Texas College. He earned a bachelor's degree from Stephen F. Austin State University.

Mr. Foster worked for Oil States, Windsor Foods and most recently Regal Nursing & Rehab.

Survivors include his father of Lampasas; a brother, Gary Foster of Lampasas; seven nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces and nephews; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother; by a sister, Diane Eiserman; and by a brother, Donald Foster.
