Kristi Bender Funeral services for Kristi Leeann Bender, 28, of Lampasas are Dec. 13, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Ralph McCulloh officiating. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery near Lometa.

Ms. Bender died Dec. 9 in Williamson County as the result of an auto accident.

She was born Sept. 29, 1980, in Burnet County, the daughter of Robert E. Bender and Beverly Grindle Bender.

Ms. Bender graduated from Lampasas High School and was a certified nurse's aide in Georgetown. She was a Texas Longhorn fan.

Survivors include her daughter, Ashley Bender of Lampasas; her mother of Lampasas; her father of Llano; two brothers, Kelly Bender of Lampasas and Lance Corp. Robert E. Bender III of 29 Palms, Calif.; grandparents, Robert and Joann Bender of Kingsland; a stepsister, Kourtnie Bender of Llano; and several aunts and uncles.

She was preceded in death by grandparents, Georgia and Dick Grindle.

The family requested memorials be made to the American Red Cross.
