      A memorial service will be held at a later date for James Arthur "Jim" Abrams, 80, of Lampasas. The body will be cremated. Mr. Abrams died Dec. 9, 2008, at Rollins Brook Community Hospital. He was born Nov. 4, 1928, in Seymour, Ill., to Homer McKinley and Mellie Dillman Abrams.

      Funeral services for Kristi Leeann Bender, 28, of Lampasas are Dec. 13, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Sneed Funeral Chapel in Lampasas with Ralph McCulloh officiating. Burial will follow at Center Cemetery near Lometa. Ms. Bender died Dec. 9 in Williamson County as the result of an auto accident.

      A memorial service for Lonnie Eugene Foster, 61, of Lampasas is Dec. 14, 2008, at Countryside Baptist Church following morning worship. Troy Young will officiate. The body will be cremated. Mr. Foster died Dec. 6 in a house fire.

      Mack L. Gonzales of Lampasas died Dec. 8, 2008, at Regal Nursing & Rehab in Lampasas. He was 79. Funeral mass is Dec. 12 at 1 p.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church with Father Pedro Castillo officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lampasas.
