Heritage group to celebrate Christmas

The Adamsville Heritage Association will complete its 100-year anniversary celebration on Dec. 6 from 6-9 p.m.

A two-mile stretch of U.S. Highway 281 will be lighted for the holidays, and Adamsville Baptist Church will have a live Nativity built by David Brink.

The main event will be in front of the Adamsville Fire Department, and will feature sleigh rides, a visit from Santa with photographs, refreshments and door prizes.

The public is invited, and activities are free.

For more information or to volunteer to decorate, phone Pat Moore, chairman, at 768- 3355.
