Central Texas Area American Business Women's Association Council held its quarterly meeting on Nov. 13 at the Howard Johnson Hotel in Killeen, hosted by the Heart of Texas Chapter in Killeen.

Guest speaker was Lloyd Leppo, certified concealed handgun instructor.

Officers for the coming year elected and installed include Tina Ackles, Globe Chapter, Killeen, chairman; Sandra Kienitz, Red Poppy of Texas Chapter, Georgetown, vice chairman; Bonnie Hunt, Bell Chapter, Temple, communications officer; Marie Jackson, Chisholm Trail Chapter, Salado, financial officer; and Robin Wheeler, Bell Chapter, liaison.

Next council meeting is Jan. 8 at the Shilo Inn in Killeen, hosted by Globe Chapter.
