Cheyenne Maples, a Lampasas Middle School seventh-grader, performed at the Mason Opry with the legendary Curtis Potter (top photo). It was the second time they have performed on the same show. In the bottom photo, Miss Maples was named an Outstanding Youth Award recipient in the "Our Children Matter" program at Medical City Hospital in Dallas where she was recognized for her community support and was asked to perform. She is pictured with Bob Bellido, director of environmental services/biomedical liaison and the program's master of ceremonies.
