Jill and Brad Schaffer of Austin are the parents of a son, Hudson Ray, born Nov. 10, 2008, at 3:24 p.m. at Seton Northwest Hospital in Austin.

At arrival, Hudson weighed 6 pounds, 3 ounces and was 20 inches in length.

Grandparents are Ken and Lou Wiginton of Lampasas, Moody Schaffer of Mexia, and Fran Langwell of Amarillo.

Great-grandparents are Twyla and Cliff Harbison of Amarillo.
