Museum foundation to release history book
      The Lampasas County Museum Foundation has announced that Keystone Square Museum's photographic history, "Lampasas County," is set for relese Feb. 16. The price will be $21.99 plus tax. "Lampasas County," is 128 pages, includes over 200 photographs with captions. It is being published by Arcadia Publishing in their Images of America series.

Boots on display
      Footwear from local bootmakers were on display. along with other tools of the boot-making trade, accompanied by documentation through the years at the recent unveiling of a boot mural on the side of the Jerry Goodson Surveying'' building on Western Street.

Probation given in DWI case
      A charge of driving while intoxicated with a child passenger netted three years' probation for 33-yearold Ty Sterling Spieker in recent 27th District Court action with Judge Joe Carroll presiding. Spieker was ordered to pay a $1,000 fine and $175 in restitution. He also must perform 200 hours of community service.
