The Lampasas Community Cantata Choir will present its "Festival of Carols" by Joseph M. Martin on Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. at First United Methodist Church, 2 Alexander Dr.

The Joy Ringers Handbell Choir also will present special selections.

Both groups are under the direction of Don Peterson, director of music ministries and church organist.

The choir includes singers from other churches in Lampasas County, Copperas Cove and surrounding areas as well as singers not affiliated with a church.

The public is invited. A reception, hosted by United Methodist Women, will follow the presentation in the Wesley Fellowship Hall.

A nursery will be provided.

The program is co-sponsored by First United Methodist Church and Lampasas Association for the Arts.
