Registration is under way for Tarleton State University-Central Texas' spring 2009 semester, which begins Jan. 12.

Registration also will be open for the December mini-semester's three-week term (Dec. 22 to Jan. 7), the spring I (Jan. 12 to March 6) and spring II (March 16 to May 8) eight-week terms.

New cohort groups at the graduate level are now forming for the spring term offering students the opportunity to complete an MBA, educational administration or computer information systems degree in 24 months.

New students are required to complete applications for admission at www.applytexas.org, then make an appointment with an academic adviser to review degree plans. Current students may register online.

Tarleton-Central Texas offers evening, weekend and online courses toward bachelor's and master's degrees.
