Art gallery demo on tap

Kim Roberti will be the guest artist of the month at the Highland Art Gallery on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. for a demo on oil still life.

Ms. Roberti, born in Vietnam, came to the U.S. as an exchange student when she was 16.

In 2000, she began to paint full time. She has studied with Sherrie McGraw and David Leffel, and her work is displayed at businesses in New Hampshire, California and Texas.

Ms. Roberti lives in Tow. She paints and teaches at her studio and gallery in Cottonwood Shores.

The gallery at 318 Main St., welcomes visitors to the demo. There is no charge for admission. Lunch will be served after the program.

Highland Arts Guild membership is open to residents in the counties of Blanco, Lampasas, Burnet and Llano.
