Metroplex Hospital in Killeen will hold flu shot clinics for those ages 18 and older on Nov. 10 from 7:30-10 a.m. and Nov. 17 from 3-6 p.m. in conference room 4.

A shot clinic at Rollins Brook Hospital in Lampasas will be Nov. 3 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in room 5.

Shots are $22 per adult.

According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the flu vaccine reduces the average person's chances of catching the flu by up to 80 percent.
