Tickets for the general membership meeting of the Central Texas-Fort Hood Chapter of the Association of the United States Army set Nov. 18 are on sale at chambers of commerce in Belton, Copperas Cove, Harker Heights, Killeen, Salado and Temple as well as on Fort Hood at the III Corps Protocol Office and the association's chapter office in the Fort Hood National Bank building on Hood Road.

Retired Gen. Gordon R. Sullivan, president of the AUSA, will be the speaker for the 6 p.m. event at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center.

Tickets are $12 each.

Sullivan, a former Army chief of staff, will brief local community leaders and Fort Hood soldiers and their families on some of the more critical issues facing America's Army in the years immediately ahead.

Ron Taylor, president of the local AUSA chapter, said Sullivan wants to publicly thank several individual and corporate members for their support of AUSA programs.
