Seton Highland Lakes Hospital is co-sponsoring an AARP Senior Driving Class on Monday and Tuesday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. each day at Woodlands Retirement Center, 700 Janet Dr. in Burnet.

The eight-hour classroom refresher course is for motorists ages 50 and older and is a comprehensive nationwide course created especially for older drives. It addresses the physical changes that can affect driving ability and behavior, and ways to compensate for those changes.

The curriculum is designed to remind older drivers of skills and techniques once learned but perhaps not used regularly. It also will update rules of the road.

Cost is $10 per person. AARP members and bring a friend or relative and receive two admissions for the price of one.
