Volunteers will begin ringing the bell for Salvation Army on Nov. 28 in front of Wal-Mart.
Donations accepted in the kettle fund will be used for local units, which assist in areas of emergency utilities, medical, prescriptions, transportation and shelter.
Funds also help with transportation for local youths to attend Camp Hoblitzille near Midlothian.
