The Area 7 Young Farmers Association of Texas met recently for the annual convention hosted by Lampasas County Young Farmers. The meeting was held at the Lampasas High School agriscience building. The Area 7 association includes San Saba and Lampasas counties and Gonzales. Elections were held, and Terri Young of Lampasas was re-elected president, while Clovia Ketchum will be the optional state YF presidential candidate from Area 7. Members conducted their area business and had a fellowship meal at Country Kitchen. Local advisers are Dr. Steve Forsythe and Wes Harris.
