Billie Ruth Pitts Graveside services for Billie Ruth Pitts, 80, of Lampasas were Nov. 6, 2008, at Coleman City Cemetery.

Mrs. Pitts died Nov. 4 at her residence.

She was born Oct. 28, 1928, in Coleman, the daughter of William C. and Margaret Elizabeth Jesse Begley.

She married Robert L. Pitts on Jan. 16, 1947, in Coleman.

They remained in Coleman until 1957 when the family moved to Lampasas.

Mrs. Pitts was a manager of a local sewing factory in Lampasas and was a homemaker. She was a Baptist.

Survivors include her husband of Lampasas; three sons, Bob Pitts and Mike Pitts and wife, Jan, all of Lampasas, and Bill Pitts and wife, Libby, of Dripping Springs; a daughter, Debbie Pitts Aiwase of Houston; nine grandchildren, Tracy and husband Travis, Jennifer and husband Rodney, Tiger, Matthew, Christopher and wife Cat, David, Sarah, Jason and Shami; and five great-grandchildren, Cooper, Kylie, Madison, Bradan and Kade.

The family requested memorials be made to the Lampasas Public Library.
