Blayze Bierschwale, an eighth-grade Lampasas Junior FFA member, collected the goods recently at the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo in Waco. Blayze showed the grand champion shorthorn steer and earned junior steer showmanship, garnering a belt buckle and a scholarship for his efforts.
