Campus sets admissions day at Killeen

Tarleton State University- Central Texas will provide a "onestop shop" at Central Texas College on Nov. 12 and Nov. 13 for new students who wish to apply for admission and enroll in Tarleton's spring 2009 classes.

Tarleton-Central Texas admissions staff will be on-site at CTC both days to assist students with degree plan advising, applying for admission, registering for classes and applying for scholarships and financial aid.

The university will waive the $30 admission application fee for any student who is accepted for admission and registers for spring 2009 courses at the event.

The offer is good Nov. 12 from 2-7:30 p.m. or Nov. 13 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in building 106, room 201-A in the Student Center. Reservations are not necessary.

Those interested should bring transcripts (official or unofficial) from all previously attended institutions. Military personnel should bring completed waiver forms for residency and TSI, available at www/Tarleton.edu/ CentralTexas. Students must have 30 transferrable credit hours to transfer into Tarleton-CT.
